Established as a Black Angus Stud, it was in 1995 that Simon and Judy decided to also start breeding some Red Angus. The focus of the operation is still very much on the Black Angus, however the results achieved to date with the Red Angus have been outstanding, culminating with the highest priced bull at the innaugural Red Angus National.

In their search for excellent stock, Simon has travelled extensively throughout Northern America and Canada to research the influence of overseas sires. Seeing many of the AI sires, their dams and progeny has allowed a carefully selected breeding program to be implemented. The emphasis is always on stock that are structurally sound with a good balanced set of EBV figures.
